These terms and conditions apply to partyStrands text messaging to short code 81890 in the United States.
partyStrands Service
partyStrands is an interactive entertainment service for nightclubs and bars that allows partygoers to interact via text messaging to a short code number. (Standard message rates from wireless carriers may still apply.) Due to the nature of partyStrands being a non-premium service with limited return messages, there is no opt-in process. Once users of the service have joined, they will receive a return message, outlining the service and how to interact. Subsequent return messages are generated only in the event of an error.
Partygoers can interact by sending text messages, voting, requesting songs and more — all from their mobile phones. For more information and texting instructions, visit party.Strands.com or your nearest partyStrands venue.
A new feature of partyStrands service allows users to join partyStrands venuesâ promotion lists to stay up to date on the latest parties and events. The opt-in and opt-out processes for this service are outlined below.
SMS Promotions Opt-in
To receive text message alerts and stay up to date on partyStrands venues events and specials simply text VIP [VENUENAME] to 81890 . You can find the venue name on the partyStrands screen in the venue or on any marketing materials the venue may hand out.
You will receive a text message asking you to reply with a "Y" to receive marketing alerts from partyStrands venues. If you agree to receive alerts, reply with "Y" and you will receive a confirmation text message that also outlines instructions on how to opt-out of the service.
SMS Promotions Opt-out
You can opt-out of partyStrands venue promotions at any time. Simply send a text message with the word "STOP" or "UNSUBSCRIBE" to 81890, and we will remove your phone from the list of registered numbers.
If you are opted into multiple lists you will receive a text message with all the venue names you are subscribed to. To opt out of a single list, simply text in the name of the venue, otherwise text ALL and you will be opted out of all of the subscribed promotion lists.

Charges
Standard text messaging rates from your wireless carrier may apply when using partyStrands. Other charges such as taxes and additional fees from your mobile service provider may apply. Check with your specific wireless carrier for more information.
